She is an experienced presenter and has designed and delivered motivational presentations and interactive learning sessions for international organisations, TAFE colleges, Vocational Training Groups, schools, not-for-profit agencies as well as lead community programs in Melbourne.

Whenever I have observed Maribel in a group situation she has demonstrated boundless energy, coupled with the ability to motivate and inspire others in the group.

Absolutely beautiful. I love how you interweave your language. Your definition of humor needs to be told to the masses. You come to a strong and brave conclusion that blindness is an attitude, and it is up to you how you handle it. There is much beauty to your truths

Writing Tutor

Maribel can also present on the theme of Creative writing including Tips and Tricks of the Trade –  taken from her ‘tool’ kit.

She designed a successful 10 week creative writing course for U3A  ‘Writing Your Memoir’ in 2016.

In Writing Your Memoir, The group learned techniques in moving a story along, finding a narrative voice and observing from all the senses to improve the prose.

Maribel’s sessions heightened our observations of life and the world around us, and it made me improve how I write in everything, even in my emails.
Gladys Arnold.

‘Participating in Maribel’s memoir course gave me a better understanding of characters, how I now look for colour and gestures people make both in dialogue and by body movement. I enjoyed learning about character analysis and much more.’
George Reed

‘I came thinking it was a standard memoir writing class but to my surprise it opened many doors to writing fiction too.’
Bishnu Addison

What I got was self-confidence, and an idea of where to start writing. I wanted to write an autobiography for my children and now I feel I can – all due to Maribel’s course.
